Pakistani Cleric: Palestinian Resistance Will Ultimately Bring Down Israeli Regime

A senior Pakistani cleric has lauded the steadfastness of the Palestinian resistance, saying the sacrifices of the Palestinian people will ultimately lead to the downfall of the occupying Israeli regime.

Hawzah News Agency- Speaking at a rally organized by the Imamia Students Organization in Karachi under the banner “Israel is Rejected,” Hojatoleslam Syed Nazer Abbas Taqvi, Secretary General of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, said the struggle of the Palestinian nation continues to expose the weakness of the Zionist regime and its Western backers.

“Two years after the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, the achievements of the resistance are evident to all. The sacrifices of the Palestinian fighters and the steadfastness of their people will soon lead to the collapse of the Israeli regime, as divine justice dictates the end of oppression,” he stated.

Participants in the rally strongly condemned US policies and so-called peace initiatives, reaffirming their adherence to the principles of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. They also expressed full solidarity with the Palestinian people and praised the sacrifices of those involved in the Global Fleet of Resistance.

Hojatoleslam Muhammad Sadiq Jafari of the Pakistan Muslim Unity Council rejected the US peace agreement, warning that Muslim rulers who prioritize political expediency over justice are betraying the Ummah. “Accepting the American plan will only bring humiliation to over 250 million Muslims,” he said.

Other clerics and scholars from the Imamiyya community highlighted the symbolic success of the Global Ascension Fleet, noting that despite the obstruction of most ships, several managed to continue their journey — a sign of the strength and determination of the resistance movement.

They hailed the courage of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the martyrs of the resistance, saying their steadfastness proves that the Zionist regime’s threats are empty.

Addressing the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, Hojatoleslam Mubasher Hassan condemned the global silence over Israel’s crimes and called for urgent international action to end the siege. He also praised Senator Mushtaq Ahmed as a “national hero” for his bravery in defending the Palestinian cause, noting that he remains imprisoned by Israeli forces.

Other participants compared the struggle in Gaza to the tragedy of Karbala, describing Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as “the standard-bearer of the contemporary Karbala.” They also criticized certain Muslim governments for aligning with the Zionist regime and betraying the ideals of the Islamic Ummah.

Protesters further denounced the nomination of former US president Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, calling it “an insult to the victims of war and injustice.”

The “Israel is Rejected” march concluded with renewed pledges of solidarity with the Palestinian people and vows to continue supporting the resistance until the full liberation of Palestine.
